Meet The Team

Stacey Edwards
Founder and
President
Stacey Edwards founded Special Equestrians of Georgia in 2006 in Milton, Georgia with 22 students and 5 horses. As a PATH Intl instructor with a background in education, and 40 years worth of horse experience, it just seemed right to join both her passion for horses and her love for the special needs community together.
SEG now has over 40 students and two special needs private schools regularly in the program.
Stacey has three children, a loving husband, and big Black Friesian gelding, named Mazel, who makes her life very interesting.

Mark Edwards Vice President
Mark Edwards works with a world-wide corporation in many fields as an I.T. manager. Between conference calls with overseas and out of town trips he supports his wife Stacey and the SEG group with his quick wit, financial backing and hard work around the farm. Always up for a new challenge (and new certifications) he enjoys designing and building different systems on the property to improve the overall operation and to make Stacey happy.

Amy grew up in Katonah, New York where she loved to horseback ride, a hobby that she still enjoys today. In her free time she enjoys riding her horses, walking her dogs, and spending time with her family. She has two loving daughters and a great husband who support her interests.
